Membership
Membership in the local church reflects the truth that all believers are part of the same body, the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). In this regard, the decision to become a member of Faith Church should be different than becoming a member of a credit union, country club or any other association. It's not about paying your dues, getting to vote on decisions and receiving your perks.
It's about being a member of a family - to connect and serve others and also be served in return. Membership at Faith Church is the way to publicly commit yourself to be an active part - an active "member" - of this local church as an extension of the body of Christ.
How to Become a Member
- Attend one of our membership classes. These classes are not required for membership, but we would encourage you to start here. You'll learn more about the history and structure of the church, and also how to best get plugged in at Faith. We’ll also discuss what it means to be a member and answer any questions you might have.
- Complete this membership application or pick one up at the Welcome Center.
- After you’ve submitted your application, we’ll contact you to set up a time for a brief, informal meeting with two elders. At that meeting, you’ll share your testimony and have the chance to ask questions.
- Your name and desire for membership will be printed in the bulletin to let others know, and celebrate, your intention to join.
- The elders will vote and formalize your membership at their next meeting.
